Scientists Have Invented a Tiny Flying Robot That Can Perch to Save Energy

The Robobee should definitely be in the running for 2016's cutest robot (and if that isn't a thing, it should be).

Not only is it tiny, lightweight, adorable and can be remote controlled - it also perches on surrounding objects to save energy, so it can fly for longer on a single charge.

We want one.
